‘Emma phone’ is back – and better than ever!

An Israeli startup called Emma, which makes phone accessories for smartphones and tablets, announced plans on Monday to bring its smartphone accessories to Egypt.

The company, which specializes in smartphones and accessories for Israel’s tech sector, announced the development in an announcement on its website.

Emma CEO and cofounder Zeev Berenbaum said in the announcement that the company plans to launch the first product to be produced by the Egyptian startup company in 2018.

Emmanuel Beren, an Egyptian entrepreneur and investor, has been active in the Egyptian tech sector since the beginning of 2017, according to Beren’s LinkedIn profile.

The Egyptian startup has been producing smartphone accessories in Egypt since September 2017, Beren said in an interview with Al-Monitor.

Beren’s previous company, a phone accessories company, was shut down in April 2018 after it was accused of using fake IDs, and he left his company.

Beren is currently working on his own company called Lava, which aims to create the next generation of smartphones.

Emmanal phones are currently available for purchase at Emmanal’s website, as well as through the online retailer.
